arts award logoArts Awards are a range of unique qualifications that support children to grow as artists and arts leaders.  Through Arts Award, children develop creative and critical skills, set themselves challenges, explore the arts, share their achievements and can gain a recognised qualification.  Arts Award is managed by Trinigy College London in association with Arts Council England.

There are 5 levels:   Discover, Explore, Bronze, Silver and Gold.   They are designed to progressively support and develop children and young people's skills and interests in the arts.

To achieve the first Arts Awards,  Discover, students must :

  1. take part in arts activities
  2. research artists or crafstspeople and their work
  3. share their arts discoveries

Discover Arts Award should take about 20 guided learning hours (recommended)

Beck Primary School  is now a registered Arts Award Centre, supporting the delivery of Arts Awards.
